The author
Ancient prophecies deserve a skeptical second look.
J.R. Corvane writes epic fantasy for readers who believe ancient prophecies deserve a skeptical second look—and that every kingdom has edited its own history.
Corvane’s love of fantasy began with The Lord of the Rings, grew darker and more politically complicated with A Song of Ice and Fire, and found another home in story-rich video games. A formative encounter with The Legend of Dragoon left a lasting affection for old magic, impossible transformations, and heroes carrying more history than they understand.
When not writing or disappearing into a research rabbit hole, Corvane can usually be found raiding with friends in Final Fantasy XIV, crocheting from an entirely reasonable collection of yarn, working on a cross-stitch project, or reading beneath the watchful eye of a very fluffy cat.
J.R. Corvane lives in New England and is currently editing Blood of the Bound, Book One of The Sundering Bloodlines.
“Epic fantasy often promises battles. J.R. Corvane promises consequence.”
